The present work discuss the situation of the actual religious phenomena from the standpoints of freudian and lacanian formulations. Our goal is to understand the "return to the sacred" in our present time where the humanity faces frequently depth and permanent crises. Such challenge will allow us to verify how the increase of the religious movements can be considered as a reaction against the breakdown of the references that happens nowadays.
