The National Hospital Humanization Program (2000) brings in its scope issues related to the implementation of a program that prioritizes humanized relations. This work emphasized the accomodation sets that have arisen with the implementation of the National Humanization program, in particular the existence of an accomodation set for mothers whose babies were sent to the NICU just after birth, either by prematurity, illness or any complications during delivery. With the application of interviews, this work brings clinical vignettes that demonstrate the importance given to the light technologies deployed with the NHHP (accomodation sets and the presence of a psychologist in the hospital) and also presents the sentiments of the housed mothers who claim to feel welcomed and calmed after being supported by psychologists and being able to have direct and continuous contact with their children
