The article presents the results referring to the research project: The Human Figure Drawing Test: Standardization and validation studies in the context of the evaluation of intrafamilial violence against children and adolescents. The objective of the investigation was to present more frequent indicators in the Human Figure Drawings in victims of intrafamilial violence. The research was conducted with 634 participants: 331 girls and 303 boys with 6 to 16 years old, divided into two groups: a clinic composed by victims of physical or sexual violence, and a control group composed by children and adolescents without any suspicion of having lived this situation. From the analysis of the general formal and content aspects, there were 30 categories with significant differences, indicating emotional difficulties: presence of thick and erased traces, signs of impulsivity and insecurity; presence of transparency, linked to immaturity or anxiety. Other relevant signs such as deteriorated head and arms may express the difficulties of personality structuring. Signs of validity of the Human Figure Drawing were shown by contrasting groups, such as relative validity to a criterion, concurrent, or simultaneous, and construct validity. Thus, the article brought contributions to Psychodiagnosis area, especially in children and adolescents victims of intrafamilial violence
