This article presents the challenges and possibilities of reflective and bereavement support groups developed through information and communication technologies during the pandemic of the new coronavirus Sars-Cov-2. It is a qualitative and reflexive study based on the experiences of the facilitators of six groups, which were discussed under the supervision of the university extension project to which these groups are linked. The resources for the organization and composition of the groups, the characteristics of the meeting held in the online context, and the reflective and ethical posture were the main challenges held by the bereavement support groups. In addition, reflective meetings made it possible to recognize some indicators of online group support, such as identity strengthening, reflexivities, narratives, and attachment and support of the people who have experienced the loss of a family member in different circumstances of death during the pandemic period. It is concluded that these indicators, present in the reflective meetings of the six groups, seem to help participants in their grieving processes, but also in the collective context, by sharing their stories and ways of expressing and caring for themselves in mourning during and after the groups break up.
