This article examines how gender-based violence differentially affects individuals marked by race, class, and gender identity in Brazil. From a conceptual perspective, it aims to provide theoretical and reflective support to inform clinical approaches and practices, focusing on three main areas: transsexuality, masculinities, and practices in Psychology. It discusses the social construction of gender identity, the impacts of hegemonic masculinity, and the challenges faced by trans individuals. Symbolic, institutional, and physical violence are analyzed as reflections of cisheteronormative and patriarchal norms that perpetuate exclusion, especially against Black women, young Black men, and trans people. Psychological clinical practice is thus called upon to act ethically, with sensitivity to diversity and sociopolitical contexts, through qualified listening, aiming to destabilize gender hierarchies and recognize dissident identities, reaffirming its commitment to transformative practices centered on equity and the right to difference.
