This article adresses a moment in the institutional history of the Therapeutic Association - Lugar de Vida, when it developed the project for the Therapeutic Accompaniment (TA) creation as a technique for the treatment of childhood psychoses. From our team's reading of an impasse present in a clinical case, we recognized the need to recommend the TA, as well as redesign the therapeutic project of the case, which led to a rewarding partnership with a CECCO (Portuguese acronym for Convenience and Cooperative Center) in São Paulo.
