In an institution, we usually find specificities in the exchanges that happen besides medical records and formal meetings. Such interactions, which occur in the so-called interstitial spaces, constitute fertile ground for the appearance of elements and positions that are unfeasible in the discursive logic engendered in the formal spaces of the institution. In this way, the psychoanalyst's practice is enhanced not only by listening to these spaces, but also by being aware of the risks that they entail in the homogenization of discourse. We find in the work transfer proposal a bet to favor the work of the psychoanalyst in its institutional aspect. However, we point out that this cannot happen without articulation with the clinical aspect of its performance.
