This article aimed to carry out a bibliographical study, based on reference works, about the consequences of coloniality, its effects on the subjectivity of the colonized people, and how its influence impacts the country’s proposal. It was concluded that coloniality still exerts a great influence both the social structure and the thinking and being of subaltern communities, including here the school structure, which dehumanizes and pacifies the student through a logic similar to that used by colonizers in the domination colonized peoples, where only authority figure holds wisdom, therefore, the only valid reference of what it to be. The need for rebuilding education through popular participation is highlighted, based on their material, historical and dialectical singularities place, where students are not just objects of education, but actors of their own social constitution.

Keywords : Anticoloniality; Decoloniality; Education; Coloniality; Eurocentrism.
