Abstract

MASSA, ELISA  and  GUERRA, ANDRÉA. Psychoanalysis and critical criminology: contributions to rethink the adolescent author of infringement. Rev. psicol. polít. [online]. 2024, vol.24, e23082.  Epub Aug 23, 2024. ISSN 2175-1390.  https://doi.org/10.5935/2175-1390.v24e23082.

We aim to redesign the discursive horizon of the narratives that trap the adolescent perpetrator of an infraction in a web that criminalizes and pathologizes them through social and racial markers. We worked with three Brazilian authors on the sociology of crime - Michel Misse, Gabriel Feltran and Vera Malagutti - to put them in dialogue with a Brazilian psychoanalysis, which revisits its assumptions and collaborates with the critical review of criminology. The ideas of criminal subject, borders of tension and selective practice of critical criminology are added to the predicative naming and discourses of dangerousness and irrecoverability, coming from the psychoanalytic field. We conclude by the disjunction between subject and act, whose intersection allows the criticism of a supposed clinical criminology, which delegitimizes coercive technologies.

Keywords : Adolescence; Infringement; Psychoanalysis; Criminology.
