This work aims to analyze the importance of the right of People with Disabilities to Regular Education. The research was carried out based on the professional practice of School Mediation in two regular and private schools in the Southeast region of Brazil. The work is developed based on the analysis of Research Diaries, as thought by Institutional Analysis. Disability Studies stands out as a theoretical reference. Coexistence is stated as a necessary factor for the construction of an inclusive education, and conversation as a promoter of coexistence, in contrast to normalizing, ableist and segregating practices, which prevent an inclusive society.
