Child participation, taken from the notion of giving voice to children, has limitations, especially when considering the specificity of being a child contextualized from the Global South. Considering the alternative societal project of a Brazilian social movement, it is important to understand how this participation takes place in a context marked by experiences of collectivization and struggles. The research was carried out with sem terrinha children from the MST, in a rural settlement and in Meetings of the social movement. The empirical work involved an ethnographic approach, with workshops held with children and semi-structured interviews with the adults. Participation is produced in movement, inherent to the daily experiences of children who live in this socio-political context of the social movement.
