Abstract

This article presents a literature review between the years 2015-2021 about the Therapeutic Accompaniment (TA) device in Brazil, and aims to outline analyzes and discuss the TM clinic in the country. From the search with keywords (a) Monitoring (b) Therapeutic and (c) Psychology carried out in the SciELO and PEPSIC databases, 84 articles were obtained and 32 of them were selected that focus on TM as a practice of Psychology. The study uses a systematic literature review as its methodology. Based on Psychoanalysis, the articles were read and signifier points were highlighted for further analysis. A contextual and conceptual overview of the productions is presented, discussing the specifics of TM. By enabling the expansion of the setting into the urban context, TM is configured as a clinical device that operates in the polis, revealing the importance of articulating rights, citizenship and mental health.
