Abstract

We took as point of departure the Freudian notion of identification to the father to whom produces humor. According to Lacan, the roots of the identification are found in the first true communication of the child - in laughing. We then try to situate two different moments in the literature, especially in Aristofanes and Emile Zola, in which humor is the privileged way.
