Narratability is a construct within the Life Design Model that addresses the narrative processes involved in career interventions. It complements adaptability and is theoretically related to personality. This study aimed to investigate the internal structure of the Narratability Scale, assess its reliability, and explore its relationship with adaptability and personality factors. A total of 359 people (M=33.6 years) participated in the study. Exploratory factor analysis revealed a single-factor structure with adequate internal consistency (α=.93). The scale showed significant positive correlations with adaptability (between .46 and .66) and all personality factors (between .29 and .38), except for neuroticism, with had a negative correlation (-.56). The results provide preliminary evidence supporting the scale’s validity and reliability, indicating its potential value for research. The results are discussed in the context of the Life Design Model, highlighting potential applications of the scale.
