This study aimed to investigate subjective well-being and self-esteem in individuals both with and without physical disabilities. The sample consisted of 258 participants, with 218 individuals without disabilities, mean age=35.73 years (SD±12.51), and 40 individuals with physical disabilities, mean age=34.50 years (SD±9.86), who responded to the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule. Descriptive, correlation, and network analysis were conducted. The Student’s t test indicated a significant difference between groups in terms of negative affect. Regarding correlation, positive affect showed greater proximity and strength, while negative affect showed greater expected influence for individuals with physical disabilities. For individuals without disabilities, self-esteem was the variable with the greatest connectivity, proximity, and strength, while positive affect showed greater expected influence. Network analysis revealed different relationship patterns among variables, indicating different understandings of the functioning of psychological constructs.
