Social justice refers to the pursuit of an egalitarian and fair society in which all individuals have their rights and opportunities preserved. Anti-racist self-efficacy may serve as a pathway to achieve social justice. This study aimed to gather validity evidence for the Social Justice Scale (SJS) and Anti-Racism Efficacy Subscale (A-RES) within the Brazilian population. The sample consisted of 235 participants, aged between 18 and 67 years, representing different genders and racial identities. Exploratory factor analysis confirmed a four-factor structure for the SJS and a single-factor structure for the A-RES. Indicators of social justice and anti-racist self-efficacy showed positive correlations with each other and with measures of optimal societal functioning. The findings support the adequacy of these scales for use in the Brazilian context, providing tools for the evaluation and development of public policies focused on these constructs.
