The main goal of this article is to present an analysis of the feelings experienced by phone-operators, monitors and specialized listeners of a governmental hotline service designed to receive assertions of child and teenager sexual abuse. It is a qualitative research based on the assumptions from Vygotsky’s socio-historical Psychology, focusing on nine subjects, including phone-operators, monitors and specialized listeners. The Interviews were carried out according to a script of themes and questions, which were then systematized and analyzed according to the methodology of significant nucleus. The results show that the receipt of sexual abuse assertions involving child and adolescent raises feelings such as anger/ revolt/hate, disgust; sadness/suffering; frustration/powerlessness, anguish/ sickening; humanization and satisfaction/happiness. Living these feelings depends mostly on the person that requests the service: a child or the abuser.
