ANDRADE, Cleyton et al. ANTI-RACIST DIALOGUES FOR A QUOTA POLICY. Psicol. rev. (Belo Horizonte) [online]. 2021, vol.27, n.2, pp.618-633.  Epub 20-Jan-2025. ISSN 1677-1168.  https://doi.org/10.5752/p.1678-9563.2021v27n2p618-633.

The article aims to discuss the context of racism in Brazil and the implications for public policies of affirmative action, more specifically in the so-called quota law. To this end, it will use the testimonies of black women, among the authors of the article itself, who have experienced such public policy for admission to the university; fragments of clinical cases and a critical analysis of some elements involved in this intersection between racism and affirmative action. It will seek to discuss in an introductory way, the effects both for black subjects who enter, and for the university itself. Emphasizing how the process of becoming black can include as a fundamental element, the entrance to the university itself. Psychoanalysis in Freud and Lacan will be the orientation for the course of such discussions.

Palavras-chave : Racism; Affirmative actions; Quotas policy; Psychoanalysis.
