In the current juncture, mental health reception services have suffered different transformations, breaking with the hospital-centered model. The aim of this research was to investigate how different health professionals comprehend the implantation of full beds in a hospital in Garanhuns city / PE. In this sense, questioning the implantation of full beds, from its actors, it is relevant once the substitutive services network enables a humanized assistance, in accordance with the Law. Participated in this research, health professionals of various categories, namely: nurse, doctor, social worker, physiotherapist, psychologist, nutritionist and nurse technician. Based on a descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative approach, open interviews were conducted through a triggering question. Respondents pointed out how the paths are being trodden in order to effectuate the beds full attention and the coping strategies for problems that arise in this context.
