JEBER, Leonardo José. Education for the autonomy through the self-regulation: a perspective of wilhelm reich's theory. Escritos educ. [online]. 2006, vol.5, n.1, pp.26-32. ISSN 1677-9843.
This text presents a relationship between the concept of autonomy as the main purpose to be achieved in education and the concept of self-regulation, extracted from the theory of political psychology of Wilhelm Reich. Self-regulation is a biological and natural capacity that shows our potential for the development of autonomy. The text shows that from this reference to the law of natural functioning of the life in the individual is that can be understood the idea of a social organization based on the flows of human nature, because the respect for these flows is a necessary condition to a culture that aims to recognize the individuals within it. The text presents the work of Reich to integrate the biological, natural and social processes, trying to overcome the dichotomy nature and culture and propose a dynamic relationship between individual and society.
