In majors such as psychology, students have multiple options as to which field to pursue in their future. This study aimed to develop and test the psychometric properties of a career field preference questionnaire for psychology students [CPsy] in Colombia. With the specifications table, the items were made and adjusted after been validated by judges. It was applied to 424 psychology students. After the EFA, 94 items were kept, which were grouped into the 9 proposed factors, with high reliability indices. The CPsy is a valid and reliable instrument for psychology undergraduate students and can be a relevant tool for vocational guidance processes.
