SANTOS, Fabiana Besen; STEIL, Andrea Valéria e BARDAGI, Marucia Patta. Predictors of Career Engagement among Technological Education Students. Rev. bras. orientac. prof [online]. 2023, vol.24, n.2, pp.231-240. Epub 25-Out-2024. ISSN 1984-7270. https://doi.org/10.26707/1984-7270/2023v24n0210.
This study aimed to identify factors that predict the career engagement of higher-level technological education students. A sample of 598 students responded to the scales of career engagement, non-mandatory academic involvement activities and depression, anxiety and stress. Through correlation and linear regression analyses, it was identified that mental health, academic involvement and extracurricular activities are predictors of career engagement. The results demonstrate the similarities and differences between the engagement of university and technological education students and advance studies with the proposition of a model capable of predicting 18.8% of career engagement among technological education students.
