The aim of this study was to estimate evidence of validity of the Passion Scale for studies and to verify its predictive capacity on self-efficacy for career decision and career indecision. There was the participation of 239 college students. The two-factor model for the Passion Scale showed good fit and accuracy rates. It was found that harmonious passion for studying was a positive predictor of self-efficacy for career decision and a negative predictor of career indecision, while obsessive Passion proved to be a positive predictor of career indecision. The results corroborate the literature on the dualistic model of passion, promoting insights into contributions of harmonious engagement with studies in career decisions.
