The aim of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the Revista Brasileira de Orientação Profissional (RBOP) to clarify the scope, evolution and interconnections of RBOP publications. We used Scopus data and the bibliometric tool VOSviewer. 202 articles were analyzed, with Brazil leading in terms of publications. The most cited article is “Career adaptability scale: evidence of validity in Brazilian college students”. The co-citation of references shows two clusters related to career choice theories and data analysis. The lexical analysis identifies five clusters covering everything from initial career choice to career development in college students. These findings provide the authors, reviewers and editors with valuable guidance for the future development of RBOP.
