MARTINS, Bruno Ferreira    MURGO, Camélia Santina. Career Guidance Interventions in Historical-Cultural and Social-Historical Psychology: a scoping review. Rev. bras. orientac. prof []. 2024, 25, 2, pp.137-146.   02--2024. ISSN 1984-7270.  https://doi.org/10.26707/1984-7270/2024v25n0203.

This scoping review, in compliance with the PRISMA-ScR protocol, aimed to retrieve the scientific output from 2013 to 2023, examining how Historical-Cultural and Socio-Historical Psychology proposes interventions in Career Guidance, and identifying the target audience and context in which they occur. The selected databases were: CAPES Journals, BVSalud, and ERIC. The search strategy was: (“Career Guidance” OR “Vocational Guidance”) AND (“socio-historical” OR “historical-cultural”). Eight publications met the eligibility criteria, allowing the analysis categories: professionals conducting the intervention; target audience; context of implementation; themes addressed; and strategies used. It is concluded that interventions were conducted by students, psychologists, and researchers with adolescent groups, mostly in schools. The recurring themes were: self-knowledge, individual-society relationship, and professional information.

: career guidance; vocational guidance; cultural-historical psychology; socio-historical psychology; scoping review.
