Abstract

CASTRO, Valia Solano. Tecnoestresse em Estudantes: Revisão sistemática de modelos teóricos adotados em pesquisas. Rev. bras. orientac. prof [online]. 2024, vol.25, n.2, pp.171-180.  Epub Dec 02, 2024. ISSN 1984-7270.  https://doi.org/10.26707/1984-7270/2024v25n0206.

The purpose of this systematic review was to present theoretical models used in research on technostress in students. The qualitative descriptive method was applied in the search in Scopus, Web of Science (WoS) and Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) databases. 22 research articles met eligibility according to PRISMA flow chart. A plurality of theoretical models used to investigate technostress in a technology-enhanced learning context was found. They highlighted the Person-Environment adjustment model, the stressor-tensionoutcome model (SSO) and the multidimensional Person-Environment model, which were shown to be used most frequently by researchers. The most relevant consequence of technostress was its impact on academic performance.

Mobile technostress was detected as a new line of research.

Keywords : stress; students; educational technology; health psychology.
