This study assessed the success in the university-to-work transition among alumni from a federal higher education institution, focusing on success predictors and differences between quota and non-quota graduates. The study employed an online questionnaire to collect data from 710 graduates. The research measured transition success using the University-to-Work Transition Success Scale (UWTSS), finding that alumni generally perceive themselves as successful, but with greater subjective than objective success. Satisfaction with the chosen profession was identified as the primary predictor of subjective success, while the management of the transition had a more significant impact on objective success. Quota graduates reported a lower perception of success, indicating the need for career planning and follow-up programs for both groups.
