TOMAZ, Víctor Gabriel dos Santos  and  ZERBINI, Thaís. Career Adaptability in Organizations: Scoping Review. Rev. bras. orientac. prof [online]. 2025, vol.26, n.1, pp.117-130.  Epub July 11, 2025. ISSN 1984-7270.  https://doi.org/10.26707/1984-7270/2025v26n0110.

The objective of this research is to summarize the international body of research on career adaptability. Through a scoping review, it was possible to identify 24 relevant publications and analyze the main theoretical models used by the research, as well as the main scales and the antecedents and consequences of career adaptability. The Psychology of Working Theory appears as a recurring basis for research on career adaptability, denoting the importance of contextual variables (e.g., marginalization and economic constraint) and work volition for understanding the construct. The results summarized by the research demonstrate the potential to contribute to the professional performance of career counselors, in facing contextual barriers and indicate gaps for future research.

Keywords : review literature; career adaptability; personnel; machine learning.
