DUARTE, Francisca da Conceição; PAIXAO, Maria Paula Barbas de Albuquerque; SILVA, José Manuel Tomás da  and  FERREIRA, Joaquim Armando Gomes Alves. Time perspective emerges as a useful construct for understanding the transition processes at the level of behaviors and cognitions. At the same time, the quality of the internship has a significant impact on the vocational development of young people. This study, organized in two stages (T1-T2), aims to evaluate the relationship between the time perspective and the internship quality. 245 students aged between 16 and 20 years (M = 17.47; SD = 1.06) participated who responded to the Sociodemographic Questionnaire, Internship Quality Inventory and Multidimensional Questionnaire of Subjective Temporality. Multiple linear regressions indicate that the time perspective predicts internship qualities. The limitations of the study and the implications for future research and interventions in vocational guidance are presented.

Keywords : time perspective; future orientation; students; internship quality.
