This qualitative research on the organization of life and work of people with severe mental suffering, in order to analyze the history of life and work, as well as the potential and challenges of users of a Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS). Qualitative research with interventional use of 14 user accounts. Data collection was carried out through participant observation, document analysis and semi-structured interviews, from which stories were produced. It was concluded that the work provides social reintegration and the exchange of affection, assets and key messages for the psychosocial rehabilitation process.
