This is a descriptive and exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, aimed at identifying the conceptions and practices of “Convivas” regarding life production and mental health in a Center for Coexistence and Culture. The 14 participants in this research, conducted between January and March 2023, completed a sociodemographic questionnaire and a semi-structured interview script, which were analyzed using simple descriptive statistics and content analysis, respectively. Three categories emerged: I - Art, Culture, and Mental Health; II - Promotion of bonds, shared management, and mental health and III - (Re)existence of Centers for Coexistence: challenges and potentialities. It is concluded that the production of life and mental health occurs through the intersection of art and culture, as well as through the creation of bonds and shared management. However, structural deficiencies pose obstacles to the service.
