The objective of the article is to originate reflections about the human psychological development, considering relational perspective and contact cycle theory of Gestalt-Therapy. Gestalt has a comprehension about child as a being-of-relation whose individuality is formed on a continuum and dynamic interaction with the world-other. Contact cycle explains how is processed every human experience and behavior manifestation, healthy or pathological. The cycle is mediated by self-regulation mechanisms that reach for a creative adjustment between individual and environment.
