PIRES, Cintia Brasil Simões et al. Family therapy and reflexive team: of the dissonance to the consonance in search of a tone. IGT rede [online]. 2007, vol.4, n.6, pp.32-39. Epub 13-Out-2025. ISSN 1807-2526. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14903417.
This article will draw from our practice some of the possibilities and the limits of bringing the reflective team to our private offices. We will suggest, as well, new forms of adapting it and keeping the power of this technique. Our work using this resource with families living in violent contexts has led us to a deeper understanding of this technique. During the course of this work some reservations have arisen forcing us to give a new dimension to the technique, searching for a tone which would, at the same time, be more comfortable and fertile for the family. Up to which extent the mediation of a TV circuit or a unidirectional mirror minimize a series of differences that the presencial reflecting team enhances? We believe that it is important to rethink these impasses as pauses from which we can develop consciousness and management of this process while in the make.
