This study sought to systematize some points of the children’s clinic-based Gestalt therapy and how the psychotherapeutic process will be giving. First, we discuss the notion of diagnostic agreement with the proposal of an existential-phenomenological approach. This means that never label, but rather we are building the diagnosis throughout the treatment based on the relationship between us and the customer, in this case the child. For this door, we discussed the relevance of the phenomenological attitude, which the therapist must imbue because it allows you to place the child as the center of the process, always respecting their pace. In this scenario, the play is of great importance, which reminds us that regardless of the toy or technique employed, they always sound a half (never an end in themselves) for the child to express themselves creatively and to know. Finally, we pause on the end of psychotherapy, whether due to an interruption or the end of the therapeutic process, at which time the child is playing with more flexibility, reflections can do for yourself and improve your way of relating to people around you.
