Faced with the unquestionable growth of violence, hegemonic metaphysical comprehensions about man sustain explanatory-causal models that aim to control and eliminate violence through certain techniques, both through the knowledge produced by Psychology and by other social knowledge. Seeing this path as insufficient to promote a reflection about violence in its more original ontological character, Martin Heidegger’s hermeneutic phenomenology seeks a non-dual perspective of existence, from which this theme can be revealed in its relation to the way of being of man. Current practices already apprehend and situate man as substance, sustaining correction as the main conduct, in a way wich is consonant with heideggerian discussions about the technique. This research seeks to unveil phenomenologically the violence, allowing to amplify the ideas that sustain this beyond the practices of guardianship and control.
