From a reflection on the aging process that has been going with the Brazilian population, especially for the family that is available as a caregiver for the elderly in their family and the repercussions of this reality in the health services, particulary in the naval context, present a proposal building a support group for caregivers of seniors, based on gestalt approach. Therefore, the meeting held with the Geriatrician from Clínica Geriátrica Hospital Naval Marcílio Dias was essential in order for the proposal to make sense to that especific context.
