This article intends to present a look at the therapist - client relationship, within the Gestalt Therapy proposal, trying to dive into the 'person to person' relationship without guarantees or 'aprioris' and still maintain the therapy of the relationship. Building a relationship where ideologies take a back seat to prioritizing the client and their pains in existing in relationship. It also refers to the conflict experienced by any researcher in the relationship he establishes with the world, which observes, interacts, lives, builds his version of reality, and builds himself when he launches toward his "object" of study. Finally, it intends to didactically revisit some of the aspects that guide the practice of Gestalt Therapy.
