Depression is an existential condition that manifests itself through the alterations of humor, motivation and the temporal charm of living. People in depression are affected by the demands imposed on the daily, as, for example: to permanently demonstrate a state of “happiness”. We assume that the psychosocial genesis of psychic suffering generates overt depressive symptoms in the body. In this paper we describe a workshop held in a “School Clinic” of a Federal University in the North region of Brazil. Ten clients aged 20 to 50 years identified with depressive symptoms participated. Were held ten group sessions, involving dialogue, relaxation, drawing and modeling; with psychological, psychiatric, social, physical and artistic accompaniment. It is considered that the interdisciplinarity work favored the participants in the corporal recognition, the other and the symptoms related to humor, enabling self-care and the questioning of personal and collective introjections.
