In love relationships, each subject brings baggage with their personal stories, fears, beliefs, dreams and life projects. Thus, by choosing a life in common, they need to create a common space. In this space, it is necessary that they can have open and sincere dialogue, respecting their individuality. With the development of this research it was possible to expand knowledge on the studied theme and it is believed that this study brought contributions in clinical work and will enable further studies in the academic field about the importance of individuality of the subject in a loving relationship, the codependency that is established in some relationships and the self-regulation of couples. The relevance of this study is to show the ways of love and relationship between human-beings in Gestalt therapy.
