In the experiential field of the woman in the puerperium, diverse existential peculiarities can be experienced that are indivisible manifestations of the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions, starting from the understanding of the human being as a biopsychosocialspiritual being, requiring the woman to have the ability to constantly adjust creatively. Such an experience is understood as a singular process and can be crossed by suffering, depending on the context in which it occurs. The present article aims to understand the emotional aspects that permeate the woman in the puerperal period. As a result, it revealed knowledge related to the plurality of women's experiences in the puerperium, recognizing individuality, in addition to comprehensive care for women during the puerperal period, where it was seen that in order for them to exercise the maternal function, in addition to the development of their self-support, considering the importance of a support network as heterosupport. Likewise, the importance and development of more academic studies as prevention and promotion of the woman's experience in the puerperium from a gestalt perspective were also found.
