This study has the purpose to review the literature about the main aggressive causes in childhood and adolescence stages. In order to facilitate diagnostic and treatment, this review accessed the socio-emotional development influence and the mental disorders participation. The temperament aspects plus the ambient influences facilitate the basic comprehension about socio-emotional development. The mental disorders can occur along this process and need to be investigated. This study approached four mental disorders: Bipolar Disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Opositive Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorder. The investigations about them are, basically, the differential and comorbid diagnostic.
