The objective of this study was the evaluation of the quality of life of intellectual disabilities. The sample consisted of 15 individuals (10 women and 5 men), with an average age of 26,8 years. The data of this research were obtained from the submission of the first version for the Quality of Life Questionnaire - QoL.Q in Portuguese language. The subjects were asked about their Satisfaction with Life, Productivity, Independence and Social Participation. It was possible to identify that the highest mean percentile achieved by the subjects happened in the Satisfaction scale (73,6), followed by the Social Participation Evaluation (52,8), and Productivity (43,73). The lowest performance was found in the evaluation of the management of the Independence (12,8). Hence, the analysis allow us to say that there is a need for investments in the social context of these individuals, mostly in the promotion of their independence, enhancing, therefore, the Quality of Life of intellectual disabilities.
