The article aims to put in perspective the issue of the teaching of Psychoanalysis at universities, confronting it, among other things, with demands that involve an analyst’s formation. In addition, different conceptions of knowledge will be contrasted. It is important to emphasize that the Lacanian theory of the four speeches will thoroughly support this argumentation.
