This article presents the experience of a Psychology internship in an Arts Workshop with children and youngsters of one of the communities that integrate a central region of Florianopolis/SC called Maciço do Morro da Cruz. The workshops were done in partnership with a CRAS (Center of Reference of Social Assistance) and were offered once a week on school extra-curricular shift, with duration of three hours. The weekly register of events, done by the intern consisted on the analyzed material. We have selected some scenes for discussion, which have made possible comprehending the social issues that marked the lives of the children and youngsters who participated in the workshops, as well as what was possible to do in that social inequality context, and with the specific conditions of the work.
