The artistic and cultural experience has often been referred to as a powerful promotional device health and social inclusion. This report deals with the participation of workers and users of a mental health service in a carnival group, as well as the unfolding of this experience and his record. Workshops were held to prepare and mount a photographic exhibition, it was collectively produced a visual narrative about what was experienced. It presents a discussion on this device from an expanded view of the clinic, which proved to be consonant with the living struggle of the Psychiatric Reform, pointing out possibilities beyond the biomedical fit in view of the production of life.
