The solidarity economy has been growing and developing as an alternative way of work and income. This paper presents research about solidarity business incubators in the state of Paraná and will discuss their activities and explain the role played by them in the field of solidarity economy. The goal of the research investigated the process of work in incubators throw interview of workers and coordinator of the incubator in the five largest Parana s Universities. The results evince the relation between the people doing this work, their difficulties and the meanings attributed to work. The results also show some of the fundamental and political dilemmas that the incubators face on daily activities and how they can improve themselves.
