The Covid-19 pandemic has been a worldwide health emergency - and its effects have reverberated in other contexts beyond that of healthcare: the cultural, social, economic and psychological ones. The impact of the pandemic in the context of mental health is expected, especially in those services where professionals are in contact with the virus. This article is an experience report from a Psychology resident in mental health practice with workers in a General Hospital. The methodology has a qualitative and descriptive nature in the form of an experience report. The results demonstrated that the anxiety symptoms associated with the Covid-19 infection decreased after psychological assistance, which helped creating a space for listening and bonding in the context of growing distress for the professionals submitted to this scenery.
