Aging is a complex process that often leads to limitations in the functional capabilities of individuals, which generates reverberations in psychosocial aspects. In this way, occupational therapeutic intervention is directly associated with the analysis of the needs presented by the subjects, being able to use resources from art and culture, taking into account volitional aspects. The research aimed to analyze how occupational therapeutic interventions at the interface of art and culture can help provide psychosocial support to elderly women. The study was qualitative in nature, cartographic in nature, carried out with a group of elderly patients in the Occupational Therapy Unit of the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Unit of the State University of Pará. The results confirmed that female groups proved to be a strategy of sociability and symbolic exchanges. It is concluded that art and culture helps provide psychosocial support for the elderly population, as these resources promotes the expression and strengthening of bonds.
