SILVA, Caroline Pereira da  y  AMPARO SOBRINHO, José Bonifácio do. Between walls and wi-fi: a review on online clinic and gestalt-therapy. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2024, vol.16, e243969.  Epub 22-Nov-2024. ISSN 2175-2591.  https://doi.org/10.26823/rnufen.v16i01.24396.

This article is a narrative literature review with the aim of investigating what Brazilian scientific productions have presented about challenges and potential in the work of gestalt therapists in online clinical management between 2020 and 2022, a critical period of the Covid-19 pandemic. The review was carried out in February 2022, in the Capes, Scielo, Pepsic and Google academic databases, in the search for books, articles, theses and dissertations. As an inclusion criterion, only publications in Portuguese-Brazil, available in full, which address the online clinic and Gestalt therapy, over the two-year period, were considered. As an exclusion criterion, studies in other languages, published before the Covid-19 pandemic, and which deviate from the Online Clinic theme and the theoretical approach researched were disregarded. Using Bardin’s content analysis method, four categories of analysis were identified, namely: 1) Social panorama, pandemic and online clinic; 2) Online Gestalt clinical management: challenges and potential; 3) Therapeutic relationship in gestalt therapy in the online setting; 4) Online Gestalt clinic and contemporary demands. The results point to the relevance of the online clinic as an important mental health care tool. The need to adapt the training of psychologists is reiterated, with specialized training and attention to the inclusion of the study of the facets of online clinical psychology to improve services. There is a lack of scientific production on the subject, and the urgency of studies specifically in the field of Gestalt therapy, expanding the academic collection.

Palabras llave : Online clinic; Online service; Gestalt therapy; Covid-19 pandemic.
