The objective of the research was to analyze how the coming out process of young homosexuals is affected by the family context, as well as identify the impact of family manifestations on the quality of life of these individuals and understand the implications of coming out as homosexual for the Family. To reach this end, a systematic search was carried out in the literature on the topic on the journal platforms CAPES, Scielo, PePsic, MEDLINE, LILACS and VHL Psychology with publication limits from September 2012 to September 2022. In the results, it was noted that in some families there is a great predominance of violence perpetrated against these young people, in others, there is a process of troubled acceptance. Thus, in addition to the one found in the research, it is essential to design strategies that can contribute to the health promotion of these individuals, encouraging the development of public policies that can pay attention to the demands related to the coming out of this public.
